Religious Right Conspiracy = Telephone Poles

It has been revealed to me today that the United States Council of Christian Churches has long been lobbying against any effort to rid telephone poles from our society. It is felt that the subliminal image of these poles is a neccessary icon for Americans to have imprinted on the subconscience. This organization maintains that elimination of telephone poles results in a decrease of church attendance.

Get Rid Of Utility Poles (GROUP)

Andy Rooney did it for me tonight with his rage against utility poles. Let's get rid of them!
